A sturdy wool yarn imo, and I think looks better when crocheted (or knitted!) in tighter rounds. My uncle picked out the charcoal grey while qe were in-store since he liked the slightly rougher (but still soft!) texture in comparison to the others, and he works on/with freight trains so it was the perfect toque yarn for him! It might get itchy if u have very sensitive skin or size incorrectly (too tight), but it is indeed very warm and will hold up for a long time! All his toques that Ive made for him so far were with this yarn :>
