In this beginner series, discover the joy of learning to spin your own yarn.

Katrina will guide you through the steps of making your singles, plying, and finishing your yarns, as well as how to measure and work with them afterwards.

Materials (INCLUDED): Participants will receive a four-week rental of an Ashford Two Treadle Kiwi Spinning Wheel and 150 grams of Corriedale wool in two colours of their choice.

If you are bringing your own wheel, please make sure it is in good working order with a minimum of 3 bobbins. If you are unsure if your wheel is in good working order, please reach out before registering.

DATES: Wednesdays, June 4, 11, 18 and 25th from 6:00-8:00 pm.

COST:

• $175 + tax with rental ~or~
• $125+ tax if bringing own wheel

Refunds or Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone, email or in person at least 72 hours in advance of the class or workshop.

INSTRUCTOR: Katrina of Crafty Jak's Boutique

Katrina is a fibre expert, dyer and creative force. She loves to play with colour and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others.  She sincerely hopes that her relaxed style and passion for the fibre arts helps to inspire a new generation of spinners.
